Jovan ‘John’ Banjac

I was so saddened to hear the news of John’s sudden passing. He was a wonderful colleague and was always so quick with a smile and words of encouragement. It seemed like he just retired. Gone way too soon. My heart goes out to Barb and John’s family. You are all in my thoughts. I know you have wonderful memories that will last forever. Hold onto those memories at this very difficult time. RIP, John.

John’s beautiful soul - with his 100% authenticity, amazing (often cheeky) humour, and true generosity and acceptance of everyone - will be remembered always. He was a great friend and we feel so honoured and lucky to have enjoyed good times together. Our hearts are hurting so much for Barb, and for his family.

Barb & Family, very sorry for your loss. I knew John during my "Canadian Tire" days, before I came to 3M. I had many great experiences with him over the years. What I remember most is his smile. Sometimes a happy smile and sometimes a "mischevous" smile, like when he was being asked for his monthly or yearly forecast numbers. Rest in Peace John.

John was our next door neighbour for many years in Pickering. A better neighbour would be hard to find. We shared many great conversations, glasses of wine, dinners and always, help when needed. Very sad to learn today of John's passing. I will always remember him as good friend and valuable member of my Toronto sales team back in the early days of his 3M career. His smile and personality were infectious . He was loyal to his company, loved by his customers and admired by his peers. Cathie and I send our sincere condolences to Barb, her family , John's daughters , sisters his and extended family members. Rest in peace buddy.

Barb, Erica, Lindsay & Family So sorry to hear about John's unexpected passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him this past year and I must say he had a kind soul with a warm smile. Last summer, Erica had a flight cancellation going from London to Edmonton and I remember saying to her that she should fly out of Toronto instead of London the next day with me to ensure she gets back to Edmonton. But she didn't have her bags. So, with almost no notice, John woke up and drove from London to Toronto airport with Erica's bags just so she could make her flight just to drive back. John was one of the toughest men I've ever met, and also the most gentle. He was a pleasure to work with and a very strong advocate for the things and people he believed in. I'm a better man having known him.
