I first met Tara in elementary school and then continued into high school. When I look back I just remember she had a personality that shined and a smile that was so infectious that it just made you smile back. She certainly had a zest for life. I'd like to offer my sincere condolences to her family, friends, and anyone else that was lucky enough to have known Tara. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful soul. Rest in Peace, Tara

There are some people that when you think of them, you only remember smiles, laughter and a good heart. I haven’t seen Tara in a while, but that’s all I can remember from high school or afterwards socially. I could see her as an awesome teacher and mom. I really, really wish I was saying these things to you sooner Tara. Huge hugs - Greg.

~ Greg Harris

Dear Tara our words cannot express the joy you've brought us these many years. You were the brightest star in our world and your passing will bring many tears. Your mom Donna treasured and loved you so much and in your many months of need that love was so evident in the tender way she cared for you. Your Mom and Lawrence were your only angels providing the love and care you so deserved and desperately needed. Your sons Madden and Chase have lost the greatest mother any child could have and their hearts will forever be filled with the sadness of losing you. No one can replace your love for them, and no one can replace your place in their lives. I will always remember you as the most joyful person I had the fortune of spending time with and the unreserved love you had for everyone. You brought joy to everyone, and we will always remember that. We will be so much better if we could reflect just a little bit of the love that came to you so naturally. Your Mom and Lawrence, your sons, your cousins, aunts and uncles will miss you so much but we can always cherish the short time in which you made our lives so much more joyful. Brian DeFreitas.

My dear Tara, I can not stop thinking about you. I remember how you said “Nanny with a sweet little twang. I remember how your gentle arms would come from behind and embrace me. How you would play with my hair, while we would chat. We weren’t in each other’s lives every day but whenever we had the opportunity to be together was a special time for me. I am fortunate to have been blessed with such a beautiful, kind, smart and loving granddaughter. To Madden and Chase, I am so sad that you have lost your mom. I know she loved you both and was very proud of you. I love you both very much. Your Great-Nanny xo To my dear daughter Donna and her husband Lawrence may the pain of your loss be tempered with the knowledge that Tara was surrounded by your love and care everyday. I’m so very sorry, and I love you very much xo

I worked with Tara at Barney’s many years ago but wanted to share my deepest sympathy to her family. I am truly so sorry to hear of her passing. May all of your sweet memories comfort you in these difficult times.

Growing up Tara was someone who I always looked up to. She was soo incredibly beautiful, her laughter was infectious, she was always kind, fun and most of all full of light. At family events she was the life of the party and always giving a helping hand to her mother. Tara was a proud mother of two gorgeous boys and a loving wife. She will be forever in our hearts.
