Larry Donald Bowden
January 24, 2023
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the age of 69. Larry is survived and remembered by his partner and friend, Valerie. Anyone who knew him knows that he was the most proud and loving father to Josh, Sara (Chris) and Lauren (Jason). He loved being a grandpa “Gaga” to Liam and Oliver – he was their entire world. He is remembered by his brother Randy (Maria) Bowden; nieces Sheena (Joe) and Julia (Adam); and nephew Paul. Larry is reunited with his parents Donald and Donna Bowden.
Larry’s biggest passions in life were music, caring for his yard, and Sunday dinners with family. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local 473 for 51 years. He was a source of laughter to all, and he made a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A Celebration of Life to follow at a later date for family and friends.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Larry are asked to consider the London Health Sciences Foundation – Intensive Care Unit.

Sara, very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
We say "good-bye for now" to a Legend! Larry Donald Bowden was just a great guy! He was the father in law of my son, "Gaga" to our 2 little grandson's, proud father to 2 beautiful daughters, and I'm proud to say he was a true friend of Jo and I. You played the parts well Larry and we are grateful for having known you! Always a laugh, sometimes we choked up a little, the stories were always fun and you were always generous in sharing your table with us, when we were in town to visit. Rest well brother, you've earned your wings and we will see each other again! RIP Gaga! Thank you for being a part of our lives. Love Jojo & Matt
