Kenneth Charles Kelly
December 31, 2022
Passed away at his family cottage on Lake St. Clair on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband of Lynn; and loving father to his children Farah, Summer, Jeff, Michelle, Matt, Josh, and Bradyn. Adored grandfather to Dante and Ashiya. Dear brother to Ed, Danny, Don, Rick (Irina), Jamie (Brenda), Rob, and Barb (Chris). Predeceased by his parents Donald and Christine Kelly, and sister Deborah.
Ken was a man of many talents and, in the end, found his love for teaching golf – the sport that he adored. He valued spending his spare time boating and relaxing by the water at the family cottage. He found happiness in spending quality time with his family. He impacted many lives and found ways to touch the lives of those around him on the golf course, in business, and sitting down at a family dinner. He wanted nothing more than to see other people thrive and succeed in their passions and interests. He will be missed by those who were fortunate enough to meet him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023. I met Ken when he opened up my home away from homes. The Golfers hideaway, I will forever miss walking in and seeing my old buddy Ken Kelly but mostly I will miss the subtle jabs on my “occasional” bad shots. I took lessons from Ken and he was a patient and very knowledgeable coach I will forever be grateful for you getting my game to the next level Ken. Till we meet again, Nick Deakin
Ken you will be sorely missed. See you on the other side. Love you. RIP
I will miss you brother. Thank-you for all you have given to me in life & it's lessons. As I was taking a swim this morning at the gym, I thought of how it was you who taught me how. I also appreciate the business experience and knowledge you have taught me.. I love you and wish we could have had more time together. I will never forget you. And you are always in my heart. Dee
I met Ken in the late 1980s,worked for him in car sales,a great boss,he also insisted that I get into real estate, which I did with his help,he was a great mentor, thanks Ken,I will always remember you,my condolences to your family,Kevin
I met Ken in the late 80s and became very good friends. We worked together and had LOTS of good times together. He taught me much and Id like to think he learned occasionally from me. Through the years we both had our ups and downs and we both helped each other. I lost touch with Ken for a while and only recently reconnected and decided that of course we should play a round of golf lol Sadly we didnt get to it. He was a big personality and will be missed.
I have only known Ken and Lynn for a few short months but they are such genuine and ambitious people. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. Pauline Lanoue
I had the honor of meeting Ken in the spring of 2021 when I was invited to join Mark Russell's foursome at St Thomas Golf & Country Club. We hit it off immediately and from that day forward I considered Ken a friend. 8 golf lessons later and a new set of PXG clubs and irons, I met my match for this passion of golf and the comradery it provides. I'm sure your infectious personality will light up those you meet in your next life my dear friend. My sincerest condolences your family and friends .

Condolences to the Kelly family . The few years I knew Ken were filled with many fun and great golf matches which won’t be forgotten. Not only a great golf buddy but a great friend who would do anything for you and not want anything in return. He will be missed !

I met Ken after we moved to London and I was looking for a place where I could practice my game and feel comfortable. Everyone at Golfers Hideaway made that happen for me. Ken was a patient coach and a great guy when it came to golf advice. He could always seem to find the positive in every situation. Lynn and family, we share in your sorrow.
