Dear Rosemary our dearest sympathy to you and family. Bill and I have been friends for 65 years. We had many great memories winning championships in baseball and both of us signing professional contracts. Bill with the Phillies and me with the pirates. Bill was an outstanding short stop. A ground ball to Bill was a certain out. Making errors was not in Bill’s repertoire. One of our highlights was winning the Canadian junior championship in Montreal. Bill was responsible for introducing to Mary, the love of my life. For the last 55 years golf became another passion for us and we introduced the game of golf to Rosemary and Mary and had many great times together. Bill had an outstanding career in the dry cleaning business. His success can be related to his ability to evaluate people and understand their character. A more solid person you will never find. Our love and sympathy to Rosemary, Andrea & Jason, Ethan & Avery Mary & D. Todd

I ha d the pleasure of coaching Bill and Rick in 1964/5 when they played baseball for Richardsons Juniors in Leaside. Bill was the shortstop and the steadying rock in our infield. Memories of the boys and their parents come flooding back to me. RIP Bill
