Graham W. Fagan

November 2, 2022

The family of Graham Fagan is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, after a brief illness. Graham is predeceased by his daughter Jocelyn Buckley (2020) and his sister Nan Shannon. He is survived by his brother Ronald Fagan and daughters Cynthia Fagan, Daphne Buono, Deborah (Ken) Carver and Peggy Fagan. He will be missed by his five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will also be fondly remembered by his cousins, nephews, and friends.

Graham was a proud Montreal native, a long-time Habs fan and spent many happy years as an active member of the Barbershop Chorus community. Singing brought him joy and was a true passion. In his retirement he moved to London, Ontario to be closer to his family.

As per Graham’s wishes, a private memorial for immediate family will be held in his honour. Interment at Notre Dame des Neiges Cemetery in Montreal will take place at a later date.

Memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Heart Association are greatly appreciated.

There were always 5 of us. But we lost Jocelyn in 2020. Dad Loved her and missed her. Now he can be with her. This is Jocelyn. I'm sure she met him at the gate.

Dad wasn't afraid of technology. He loved sitting on his balcony reading the latest books on his Kindle. He was always a voracious reader. We loved a lot of the same books. He got me into Follet and Ludlum when I was a teenager.

Higgins Beach was a big part of the Fagan Family summers. Dad taught us to throw a Frisbee, body surf, fly a kite and swing a bat. Some of the most fun family memories growing up happened at Higgins Beach.

After retiring, dad took a solo trip West across Canada and saw interesting sites like this. The next year he went East. He wanted to experience all of Canada

Deepest sympathies and condolences to Graham’s beloved daughters. His love of life and all things Montreal were legend. His love of Canada was also profound - and he mastered use of his computer so he could keep friends and extended family abreast of interesting online discoveries. He will be truly missed!
