Bridgelal ‘John, Jung’ Singh
October 13, 2022
It is with profound sadness that the family of Bridgelal “John, Jung” Singh of London, Ontario announces the peaceful passing of our dear father on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in his 81st year. He will forever be cherished and remembered as a devoted father to his children Shermila (Julian), Randy (Jennifer), Andrew (Jessica), Ryan (Denise), Brian and Stanley, and a dedicated Grandpa to Madison, Bryson, Jacquel, Neriah, Tayo, Dominic, Haiden, Lili, Aaliyah, Ryder, Braylen and Bryden. He leaves behind his loving wife Sandra and stepson Neil (Shobha). Predeceased by Bob (Risa), and grandchildren Zachary and Katrina. He is survived by his best friend, Clarence (Jean), loving nieces, nephews and many cousins. He was an absolute friend to all who he treated as his own children.
Our father migrated to Canada from Trinidad in the early 70s as an ambitious young man who paved the way for his family that he left in the West Indies. He worked hard and challenged himself to provide a comfortable life for his family. He enjoyed and laughed with everyone who crossed his path. Our father was a fruitful gardener who used his labour and love from his hand to feed everyone. He was a thoughtful mentor and a great listener who made time for all. He ensured everyone was heard and felt unconditional love. He will forever be missed, but will live on through our memories and our hearts. We wish him farewell in his journey to divinity.
A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. A livestream of the service will be available for those unable to attend in person. We are so very sorry for the loss of your father! Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
Our family wish to extend our deepest sympathies with the great loss of your loved one! It has been a profound privilege in knowing "Dad" & his loving children. They welcomed me in many years ago and made me feel like part of their family. His heart was so big and when we would have our heart to heart chats, he made me feel as though I was the only person in the room. He was so loving and empathetic to the lives of others, so much so, he rarely regarded his own. "Dad" just loved life and people. He was such an inspiration in my life and always made me and my family feel so loved. Being around him was the highlight of every trip. He will be sorely missed. It's been an honor to have loved such a wonderful man. May God keep you and comfort you during this sorrowful time. Love Angie xox
Our heart and love goes out to the family. It was an honour to have known such an amazing man who’s smile emulates through all his children. May he rest well in Gods arms. Love The Brodrecht Family Xoxoxo
