Passed away peacefully in Owen Sound with family by his side, on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. David is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Darren and Haley Keene and their mother Kim Green. He will be dearly missed by his brothers and sister, as well as the “outlaws” as he liked to call them; Barbara (Doug) Keene-MacMillan, Doug (Cindy) Keene, Steven (Pamela) Keene, sister-in-law Jenny Keene, as well as Gwen Keene. Dave will be lovingly remembered by many nephews and nieces, and by the Jeffrey family. Predeceased by his partner Doris Gallant; children Darren and Shelley; parents Charles and Evelyn; and brothers Bill and Peter. David was retired from the Canadian National Railway Police, where he was employed as a Special Investigator from 1964-1999. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Interment will take place at a later date at Woodland Cemetery in the family plot. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of David are asked to consider The Sunshine Foundation of Canada.

So sorry to read of Dave's passing. He and my brother Jim were good friends back in the day. I remember Dave coming to our house. Always friendly and smiling! My condolences to the entire Keene family.
