Donald Ross Turnbull

Don passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27th, 2022 at the age of 84. A retired Project Manager with Bell Canada, Don’s career took him all over Canada – travel being a passion he took well into retirement and shared with his wife, family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his wife Denise (née Fortier) and son Stephen “Steve.” He is survived by daughters Debra (Hong) and Marie (Mark); daughter-in-law Deborah; and grandchildren Connor, Craig and Caleigh. He will be missed by the Turnbull and Fortier families, as well as the many travelling friends he made all over the continent. A dedication service will be held October 1st at 1:00 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery – Gazebo Columbarium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Health Foundation by calling 1-888-834-2496 or visiting www.childhealth.ca would be appreciated.

Dearest Marie, My heartfelt sympathies to your family.

We started out as neighbours and ended up as good friends. We always enjoyed his company and good humour.

À Debbie et Donna, toutes nos sympathies suite au décès de mon oncle Don, avec qui je me rappelle un bon souvenir chez grand-papa Fortier quand j’étais adolescente. Nous ne pouvons être présents mais on pense à vous et votre famille.
