On Tuesday, May 31, 2022, surrounded by friends and family, Karen Marie Pringle, at the age of 63, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her son Bubba (Jen) Pollock and daughter Rachel Pollock. Karen is also survived by her brother Danny Pringle; and sisters Janice Groff (Gene), Judi Easby and Brenda Schell. She was predeceased by her brother David, as well as her parents Ray and Gladys Pringle of Woodstock. She will be missed by her four-legged buddy, Cairo. Karen appreciates the efforts of her friend Don and son Bubba, who stepped up with an incredible effort in her final months to ensure a peaceful journey in her final days. The incredible work of the Palliative Care Team, the London Cancer Centre, and Parkwood Institute was much appreciated by Karen and her family. A Celebration of Life will be conducted on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Donations to Karen’s favourite charity – Kidsport London (316 Rectory St., London, ON N5Y 5P8), which helps lower-income families participate in sports, would be greatly appreciated.

I am so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. My heart goes out to everyone that had the privilege and honour of knowing this beautiful person inside and out. Karen was the kindest, caring, compassionate, loving, giving, funny, happiest lady. We will miss her dearly. My sincerest condolences.

Karen was alway so helpful with our Auxiliary Unit or whatever I needed assistance with. A truly loyal and compassionate lady about her job and with her Colleagues. Always greeted with a smile and hello. Hold her close to your hearts and cherish the memories.
