Gordon ‘Leon’ Ross
July 12, 1932 - April 6, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce that G. Leon Ross passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Jean Grace Ross (Curley). Loving father of Kathryn and Steven. Predeceased by his brothers Vernon and Clair, and sister Betty Ross Oliver. Leon was a hobby musician, playing saxophone and then the upright bass in many bands. He also enjoyed sailing on his Folkboat for over 20 years. In lieu of a celebration of life, donations in memory of Leon may be made to Mount Zion United Church, London.

We are so sorry to hear of Leon’s passing. We shared a love of music, friendship, and many a cup of tea and oatmeal cookies. Leon loved his cookies and we would frequently send him home with a few to enjoy later. We regret that with the pandemic the past couple of years we weren’t able to see him and share a few laughs. Leon was a wonderful man and he will be missed. Our deepest condolences to Jean and his family. Frank & Sara
On behalf of my mother, Barbara Lee, our deepest condolences. Leon was a lovely neighbour for many decades.
So sad to read of Leon's passing. My condolences to his entire family. I had the great pleasure to work with Leon for many years at London Life. He was always so pleasant, cheerful, and up beat. I t was also a pleasure to listen and dance to his combo on many occasions.
