David “Dave” Borthwick

Peacefully, at LHSC – University Hospital on Sunday, March 13, 2022, Dave Borthwick passed away, at the age of 89 years. Dave went home to be with the Lord and reunite with his beloved wife Emily (2014). Loving father to George (Isabel) and David (Susan). Loving grandad to Jennifer (Chad), Ryan (Amanda), Meghan (Anthony), and Danielle (Andrew) and great-grandad to Bradley. Dave will also be missed by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Medway Cemetery. Those that wish to make a memorial donation in memory of Dave are asked to consider Berean Baptist Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I'm the Pastor's wife in Yuma, AZ (Bible Baptist Church) where Dave & Emily were winter visitors for many years, such wonderful couple who loved the Lord, good to us and our church. They were our favorite Scotish Canadians who shared stories, history, their love to all of us here. We are so sorry to hear that Dave passed this spring but KNOW he is with the Lord Jesus Christ rejoicing and seeing Emily, his true love again makes our hearts thrilled. We look forward to seeing him in heaven very soon as I pray the rapture comes, Lord come quickly! Comfort to all Dave's children, and grandchildren who will be sad not seeing him anymore on this earth.
