Ricardo Antonio Rangel-Bron

Passed peacefully at Parkwood Institute on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, with his family by his side, at the age of 92. Loving husband of Shirley for 63 years. Beloved father of Ricky (Natalie) Rangel-Bron, Velvet Rangel-Bron, and Kelly (Mike) Easterbrook. Adored grandfather to Jenni and Michael, and great-grandfather to Talayna. Predeceased by his daughter Sandy (2018). Ricardo was an avid gardener and bird watcher; he had a great love for the outdoors and animals. He served in Korea and was a proud member of the RCR (The Royal Canadian Regiment). Ricardo loved and appreciated the staff at Parkwood Institute and all of his friends and comrades. The family would like to recognize Dr. Wickett and all the staff of 3 Kent. Funeral service will be held at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Registration is required to attend the visitation and service. A livestream of the service will be available for those wishing to view the service remotely.

So very sorry for the loss of your dad, what a great guy he was. I could listen to his story telling for hours. His garden was something very special, he would tell me all about the plants and I learned a lot from him. The same when he had all his birds, boy he sure looked after them and loved every minute of it. I’m just learning of his passing today. Steve called to tell me that he passed on my birthday. Steve stopped by today hoping to see someone he knew. He never registered ahead, so he couldn’t get in. Sending condolences to all the Rangel- Bron family.
