Jim was a great mentor and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to his family

~ Lauren Hartsell

I was a friend of Jim AND a patient at UWO, as you may expect when going into surgery you may be most apprehensive. Jim found time to meet me JUST minutes before my surgeries and made me feel most comfortable in a time of great stress. Was a most comforting man. I was extremely happy when his procession left the altar singing Midnight Train with his sister Michelle carrying his URN of ashes and joyfully singing along to the music, I am so sure Jim would approve, it was a fitting way to close his ceremony. Thank you!

~ Dave McHardy

Rest in sweet peace Jim. You always put a smile on my face and were a true joy to be around and talk to. Your humour and kindness will be sadly missed dear friend.
