James ‘Jim’ Stanley Percival
October 6, 1948 - December 12, 2021
James ‘Jim’ Stanley Percival, of London, Ontario, passed peacefully at McGarrell Place LTC Home, on Sunday, December 12, 2021. Beloved son of the late Ernest James Percival and the late Dorothy Mae Percival (Cox). Dear brother of the late Judith Marion Durk (Percival). Jim is survived by his sons, Sean Percival, of Grande Prairie, Alberta; and Jesse Percival, of London; and their mother, Shirley Armstrong (Smith Percival). Loved uncle of Stephen (Barb) Durk, Jamie (Michelle) Durk, Tasha Kokinis; and brother-in-law, Clifford (Ev) Durk. Jim was a talented guitarist. His Martin classical guitar was never far from his side. He loved reading and enjoyed various venues. He had a curious mind and enjoyed science. A lover of animals, who was especially fond of cats. Jim had many fond memories of Port Stanley.
The family extends their thanks to the staff at McGarrell Place for their support and care. It has been much appreciated. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery will take place at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider a donation to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue, Holly’s Hope Cat Rescue or SALT Rescue Organization.

Have been searching for Jim for many years without success and am sad to have discovered him here. My deepest sympathy to the family as you grieve this loss. I have many wonderful memories of Jim and will never forget him.
