Passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at the age of 79. Beloved husband and best friend of Jane. Loving father of Lori (Randy) Kraul, Lisa (Eric) Schrenk and Todd Charlton (2016) (Melissa Graham); grandfather of Kalyn (Quentin) Genuis, Jared Kraul, Tyson (Rachelle) Kraul, Ember Kraul (Glenn), Marshal Schrenk (Ashley), Marissa Schrenk, Harper, Jack and Devlin Charlton; and great-grandfather of Lila, Rowan and Elias Genius. Survived by brothers, David (Cathy) Prance, Wayne (Fran) Prance; sisters, Marg (Ross) Beaver and Mary (2004) (Bob) Webb. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, Gordon Prance (2007) and Doreen Hay (1996). Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Registration will be required to attend the visitation and service.

To Jane, family and friends Sorry to learn of Gerald’s passing. I can remember him as being with the Exeter Police and a charter bus driver for years. Our condolences to all.

Dear Jane We wish to offer our deepest sympathy to you and family. We had several great trips with Gerry and he was the greatest bus driver. He will certainly be missed by everyone that knew him. Don and Lorene
Jane and family: I was sad to hear from my cousin Greg about the passing of cousin Gerald (our joke was that I called him "Uncle Gerald", which drove him nuts, but we hugged and laughed each time I did it!). I always enjoyed our time together, and was so grateful for him taking my Dad (Jack Shoebottom) out for breakfast regularly. Dad enjoyed their time together until unfortunately his dementia changed his personality against everyone, including Gerald. Sending you all a big virtual hug from me and my husband!
Words at this time seem so inadequate. Please know, Jane and family, that our hearts go out to all of you at your loss of a great husband,father, grandfather and friend. Gerry was as an example of a, "Friendly Giant", with a big smile. He will always be remembered by all lucky enough to have been able to meet him. Best wishes always, Juliette and Dale

I was very sorry to learn about Gerry. I did not know him that well but always enjoyed his company to have a coffee or sit and visit when we crossed paths at various events or places when we both drove bus working for competing bus companies.

I offer my deepest heart felt condolences on the loss of Gerald. I will certainly miss our frequent phone calls and Krista, Ryan and Melissa send their condolences as well. Gerald was always close to my 3 children. May God Bless you and keep you as you face some difficult time.
