Peacefully passed away at Westmount Gardens LTC Community on Thursday, December 23, 2021, Margaret Helmer formerly of St. Thomas, at the age of 88. Wife of Donald Helmer. Cherished mother of son, David Helmer and daughter, Janet Helmer. Missed by her sister, Vera Martin. Interment to take place at Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery, 190 Wilson Avenue, St. Thomas on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Margaret are asked to consider the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital.

I have and will always think of Marg in the most pleasant way. My heart goes out to David who looked after his mother's wishes making sure she was fed and had nourishment when he brought his mother to get her hair done. RIP sweet lady.
