Irene was a much adored Auntie who always had a wonderful smile on her face and a wicked sense of humour. Lots of wonderful memories of her visits to England and our visits to Canada. Irene introduced us to her delicious home cooking including meatloaf, lasagne and banana cake. She was a treasured Auntie to us all and was always just a phone call away across the Pond. Condolences to Peter, Laurie, Janet and Peter Junior and their respective partners. Much love from The Welsh family.

Peter we are thinking of you and your family at this difficult time. The devotion you and Irene had for each other did not go unnoticed. Irene's eye rolls when you would share a one line groaner.... Your patience when Irene was busy enjoying the company of others (even thou you were double parked and fearing a ticket). It was a pleasure getting to know both of you on a personal level. On behalf of my family, the participants, other volunteers and staff at Parkwood, I offer our condolences.
