Nancy, Brad & families.... Thinking of you all at this very difficult time. My mom has lost her bestie.. the one she could spend hours talking to on the phone. In the good old days - when we tried to call and got a busy signal for hours - we knew it was Edie she was talking to. I always enjoyed chatting with your mom when she visited with my folks. Lifelong friends create lifelong memories. I know eventually - the tears will turn to smiles for my mom and all of you. My deepest sympathies... Lori

Brad, Nancy, Mike & family - sincerest condolences on your mom's passing. I can't count the times I enjoyed long telephone calls with your mom! I was reminded by Lori on this page of the many times in years gone by when MY mom's phone was busy for hours ... and we also knew it could only be Edith with whom she was talking that long! Their friendship of close to 80 years meant that your mom was always a familiar face in my life; she was so kind to invite me to lunch almost every day when I got my first job downtown and she was a member of the family when both my grandmother and mom passed away. She was a special lady and I will miss her -- most especially her laugh. Sue

We would like to send our condolences on behalf of the Senior's Club of which Edith was a member. She loved to play Euchre and was very good at it. She often said how much she enjoyed the people at the club and the feeling was mutual. She will be missed.

Dearest Nancy (Mike) and Brad, we are very saddened to hear the news of the passing of your Mom and our dearest Great and Great-Great Aunt Edie. She certainly had an infectious giggle! Sending our love and support xo Vanessa, Paige and Vaughn

Aunt Edie has always been a dear aunt to Vanessa and I. I spent the first years of my life growing up in the house she sold to my parents. I even have her to thank for contributing her recessive gene by allowing Joshua to have red hair! With a family as small as ours, it's extra sad to lose a family member; however, I know that she is in a better place. Learn some new games up there, Aunt Edie so you can teach them to me when I see you again! Love you! ❤️
