Dennis Glen Wayne Pettit
February 20, 2021
Passed away suddenly, on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at the age of 64. Father and grandfather of Kristen (Jeff) Mussio and their children, Myah and Matteo; and Brandon Pettit and his children, Sophia and Edison. Loving companion of Sara Sawyer. Survived by his sisters, Sandra (John) Wheatley and Beverly (Tom) Wheatley. Dennis is now reunited with his parents Glen and Joane Pettit; and siblings, Roy (Butchy) Clark and Donna Jones. Dennis thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and lived an adventurous life – whether he was hiking, fishing, kayaking, playing golf or taking his RV to places like Arizona, Florida and the west coast. He appreciated nature and the calm and peacefulness it brought. Dennis was quite the craftsman and enjoyed taking on new projects like woodworking and renovating his homes. He had a generous heart and will be missed greatly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a private family memorial service will be conducted. Kristen, Brandon and family. Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your father. I have many fond memories of our times together, and will always cherish those. Dennis was a wonderful man and I have no doubt he will be missed by many. May he rest in eternal peace.
We were so sad to hear of the loss of Dennis. We have not been neighbours for very long but have truly enjoyed our conversations and will miss his happy smile.
I just viewed online the current ceremony for Dennis . So sorry to the family for your loss. I last saw and talked to Dennis at my Aunt Irene's funeral but I recall our chat as being as if it was every time we met. He was engaging, funny and wanted to know how things were going on in my life. Although, as mentioned by his nephew during the ceremony, time and distance does get in the way of relationships I will fondly remember Dennis and the social interactions we had together over the years. Darryl
Kristen, Brandon, Sara & Families; I send our sympathy to all of you during this difficult time. Dennis was a very valued salesperson for us here at Lifetime Water Products Canada INC, in Exeter, back in the early 2000's and again for a short stint five years ago. He was a true old school sales professional. I will always remember his comment following his customer appointments; "I left no stone unturned Mark". Although our opinions didn't always align, we made it work. I appreciate having known Dennis as he taught me as much or more than I taught him. We will continue to remember him, along with our many customers whom he served. Again, my sincere condolences to you all. Mark Heimrich & Staff, Lifetime Water Products Canada INC. , Exeter.
