On Sunday, February 14, 2021, an angel was called to Heaven. Keith Alfred Keller, passed away peacefully, at University Hospital, London, Ontario, after a short battle with leukemia at the age of 87. He was a much loved husband and best friend to Alice Keller for the past 4 years. Loving father to Warren (Sheryl) and Wayne (Sonya); and loving grandfather to four wonderful grandsons: Peter, Johnny, Owen, and Jack. Keith will be greatly missed by his brothers: Karl (Marg), Earl (Kathy), Murray (Pat), Roger (Barb), and George (Elaine); his sisters: Gloria Learn and Marlene (Roland) Gibson; sisters-in-law, Mabel Keller and Shirley Keller; brother-in-law, Bev Lindenfield; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his first wife, Joyce Keller (2010); parents, Frieda and Edward Keller; brothers, Ken and Elgin; sisters, Marjory and Ruth; brothers-in-law, Mel Greb and Max Learn. He was a Godfather to: Ed Keller, Russ Gibson, Scott Keller, and Karen Vanweiran. Keith was born March 30, 1933. He grew up on a farm near Dashwood, Ontario and moved to London for a job opportunity working at Coleman Meat Packers for many years as a farm manager, until the company closed the doors. He then found his dream job at Labatt Brewery until retiring at 65 years old. He enjoyed travelling, vintage cars and tractors. He was an expert solo and euchre card player. He also loved spending time with his family and watching his grandsons play hockey, and baseball. He attended Faith Lutheran Church every Sunday. He also was an active member of the Hamilton Road Seniors’ Community Centre and really enjoyed the drama club. Keith’s family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at the University Hospital for their compassion and dedicated care. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2021 at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Registration is required to attend the visitation.

Please note: as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted. Please be aware that COVID-19 protocols are in place which may preclude some from being able to attend and masks are mandatory at both indoor and outdoor services. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Keith are asked to consider the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Faith Lutheran Church.

I'm going to miss tossing around the baseball with uncle Kip at family picnics. I'm going to miss those sometimes intense but always enjoyable solo card games with him. I'm going to miss those analytical discussions regarding the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. For those who knew him we will all miss his warm smile and presence. Heartfelt condolences to Alice, Warren, Wayne and their families. Rest In peace Uncle Kip.
We grieve with you. Your dad was somebody for whom family meant everything, and his dear face will be sadly missed at all of our gatherings from here on.
My deepest sympathies to Alice and Keith's Family. Keith had a special place in my heart and will always be one of my "honeys" at the Hamilton Road Seniors Centre. My fondest memory of Keith will be every Tuesday morning at the centre, where he was always waiting , with his five dollar bill in hand to pay for his coffee, and the change I gave him always had to be two toonies. We always had a laugh at how predictable he was. Keith will be missed my many. RIP my friend, until we meet again.
Alice, Warren, Wayne and families, so sorry to hear of the passing of Uncle Kip. Our sincere condolences. Uncle Kip always had a smile or grin on his face and had a gentle soul. Mom(Ruth) and dad always enjoyed having him and Joyce for a goose or duck supper.

Alice Warren, Sheryl Peter and John and Wayne, Sonya Owen and Jack I am so very sorry for your loss. Grandpa was a wonderful kind hearted man who loved his family very much. He had a smile that lit up the room and I will never forget his guilty mischievous smile. He has always remained an active part of all of your lives through thick and thin and I know you will miss him dearly. He gave all of you the gift of many wonderful memories through the years that you will take with each of you through the rest of your lives. He loved the Keller clan and enjoyed every Keller event and that love of his extended family is with all of you as well. Many memories were made during the Dichert family picnic, Thanks giving get togethers, the potato pancake breakfasts to celebrate his mom solo tournament and crokinole tournaments. Deepest sympathy to you all, Alice, Warren, Wayne and family. Keith was a great man of faith and strength for so many people - and a pretty good softball player! My childhood memories have him with a cap and a mitt and a steely, quiet excellence. He will be missed but we all better off for knowing him. Keeping you all in my prayers at this time.

My sincere condolences to Alice, Warren,Wayne and families and all the Keller siblings and families. May it comfort you to know that my sympathy and caring thoughts are for all of you at this difficult time. Fred used too often mention at his birthday and our anniversaries that Keith and he were the same age and that Keith and Joyce were married either the same day we were or close to that date.
