Patricia Ann Rock
February 8, 2021
It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Patricia Ann Rock announces her passing on Monday, February 8, 2021. Wife of the late Garry Rock (2000). She was the incredibly supportive mother of Darlene (Shawn) Doe, Diane (2019), David (Heather), and Denise. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren: Michael (Lindsay), Brittany, Kennedy, Koen, and Joshua. She leaves behind her sister, Linda (Norm) Eagleson; brother, Ron (Judy) Pickering; and brother-in-law, Wilbert Mawson; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is fondly remembered by Gary and Brandon Flonders and Scott Denomy. Predeceased by her parents, Earl and Bertha Pickering; her sister, Joyce; and her brother, Jim. The family would like to thank Westmount Gardens LTC Community – Yellow Rose unit for all of the love and support given to Patricia in the last six months. A private family burial will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Patricia to The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
“We will miss you beyond measure and loved you immensely.”

Darlene, David and Denise. Always a friendly face at family functions. Your Mom was always one to make sure everyone was included in the activities, as well as the responsibilities as we all got older. I feel so sorry, that living out west, I haven't stayed in touch with family as much as I would have liked. But, with the Pickerings it was never hard to find one almost everywhere you looked. My family and my own newest grand-daughter send our condolences and warmest of wishes to you all. On behalf of Ann and myself, we wish you peace of mind and fond memories of your mother.
Denise, Koen and Pat's entire family. My very deepest condolences over the loss of your beloved Mother. Although I had never met Pat, judging from the condolences, she was no doubt a remarkable and beautiful woman. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Sending our condolences , thinking of you all at this difficult time.
Sending our sincere condolences to all of your family on the loss of your Mom & Grandma . Even thou we had only met you once, over the years we have come to know you through conversations with Darlene &bShawn on how you are a wonderful Mom and Grandma to all of your family and as shown here in the many tributes and testaments from friends and family. I know the last year has been hard with the loss of Diane, moving from your family home of many years, Covid and health struggles but you raised a wonderful family who will continue your legacy and cherish your memory . Love Barbara, Paul, Liam and Kennedy
To all of Trish's family; I fondly recall back to the early days when Trish, Gary, Don and I had young families and our Saturday evening entertainment was playing cards at each others homes. As the evening progressed we had to pass the bottle opener around the table to the dealer because we'd be so busy visiting we would forget who dealt. When the time came to go home, we would have to wake the kids from wherever they had fallen asleep and get them to the car. Fun memories of wonderful times spent together. Caring thoughts and warm hugs.
Grandma, I don't even know where to begin. For 20 years of my life you have been someone I've talked to almost everyday. I miss you more than I can say and don't know what a world without you is going to be like. I know you're up there with mom looking down on all of us smiling and that's a comfort that I think about everyday. I love you so much and which I could have one more talk with you, one more time telling you about all the stuff I'm up to and what's going on in my life or what you're up to. I'll miss and love you always 💕 rest in the sweetest peace and give mom the biggest hug for me.
Trish, you made my children and I feel a part of the family right from day one when Kev and I got together. You were always helping someone, laughing or cracking jokes. You made people feel at ease and comfortable. We miss you already and you will forever be in our happy memories.
Mom I don't know how many times this week I said I need to tell mom that. I can't even begin to explain how I feel. You were the best Mother and even better Grandma to all of us. You always made time to listen or coming running when one of us needed you. I just hope I am half the mom and soon grandma you were to all of us. We will miss you beyond words and love you forever till we meet again.
Such sad news for this family, Trish was a very caring person and will be missed greatly and every day. Condolences to Darlene, David, Denise, Linda, Ron & families. Remember the good times and her smiles she always had.
