Peacefully, at McGarrell Place on Thursday, January 9th, 2020 in her 91st year. Loved wife of Art LeClair (2012). Loving mother of Paul (Diane), of Calgary; Dave (Sheila), Rob (Lucy), all of London; and Mark (Reneé) of Plano, Texas. Dear Nanny to nine grandchildren, Kati (Andy), Tara (Scott), Adam (Kelly), Jenna (Dave), Melissa (Alex), Jessica (Luke), Marc, Cole and Hunter. Great-grandmother of Henry, Olive, Emma, Georgia and August. Predeceased by her brother Joseph Beechie. Alma was a long-time teacher at the London and District Roman Catholic Separate School Board, retiring from there after having served for a number of years as a Special Education Teacher. She loved to find and acquire unique toys and collectibles. Some of her best memories were of travelling with her beloved Artie. A sincere thanks to Lynda, Alma’s special and devoted caregiver for the past few years. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday, January 13th, 2020 at 1:30 p.m., with visitation starting at 12:30 p.m. Interment at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Dear LeClair Family, Alma was our most lovely Aunt and we will all miss her dearly. We may be far away on the map but our hearts will be with you as Alma is laid to rest. May she rest in everlasting peace.
Dear Rob, Lucy and family, Please know that our caring thoughts and heartfelt sympathy are with you all. So hard to loose our parents! So sorry I could not attend the funeral today as I have and still am sick with the flu. I was very fortunate to meet your Mom. She will always be with you..there will be signs! hugs , Jenny and Bob
My condolences to the family. I worked with Alma at Holy Cross school in the 1970's. You always knew Alma was in the staff room by the gales of laughter as she always had a great story to tell and brought her vibrancy to make us smile everyday. I am sorry for your loss.
