Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Chelsey Park LTC Home, on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, Verona West, of London, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Peter Templar West (2018). Verona leaves behind her children: Bruce West (Karen), Anne Stannard (the late Steve), and Susan Beringer (Ron). Predeceased by her son Paul (1985). Proud grandmother of Braeden West (Sheri), Tara Braybrook (Evan), Adam Stannard (Jenna), Tamara Hoevenaars (Craig), Jake Beringer, and Emma Beringer. Great-grandmother of Jack Braybrook, Hunter West, Skyler and Shayla Stannard, and Georgia and Sadie Hoevenaars. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 13th, 2019 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Verona are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.

Sorry to hear this. Such a sweet person. I’m glad I got to know Verona and Peter at church, he’d sing as we did some volunteer task in that beautiful deep voice. I think Dan adopted her as his grandma. Such a blessing they were, heaven gained some great souls.
