November 1, 2019

On Friday, November 1, 2019, Grant Charles Allen, 67, of London, Ontario, left this earth peacefully surrounded by loved ones. Much loved father of Pamela (Nick), Krista (Chris) and Carlene (Shaun). Beloved brother of Brenda Gunn and survived by his ex-wife, Dona Mustard. Cherished Grandpa of Kara, Danaka, Caelan and Kamryn. Grant was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Grace Allen.

To my Brother Grant - You have been here for 67 years of my time on earth. It still doesn't seem real that you have journeyed on to the next of life's adventures. You brightened lives with your amazing sense of humour, love of music & talent on the airwaves, & I know you will share these gifts in the place you are now. Your love for your beautiful girls & grandchildren is unsurpassed, as their love is for you. Although we can no longer see or touch you, you are in our hearts forever, & if we listen closely we can hear your voice, for you are not really far away. I'm glad you are my brother & I will always love you. Everyone takes the journey you are on, & I will see you when I get there. We'll have a beer & listen to the music! Love, Brenda

Tom and I are so sorry for the loss of your brother, Brenda. I got to spend time with the two of you on our trips to London and he truly did have such a great sense of humour. I am honoured to have been just a small part in your final trip to see him before he passed. Thinking of you and the rest of your amazing family.

Always missing you, Dad, but especially at Christmas. It was your favourite holiday and it doesn't feel the same without you. I'm going to take another crack at your famous holiday chocolates this year, send me some luck, would ya? Can't imagine what you would have thought of 2020, but I'm sure you would have found some humour in it, like you did with everything. I love you and miss you so much, always. "Huge big bunches". Love always, #1.
