I just became aware of this terrible news. Very sorry to hear this Becky. Peter and Natalie Angus
Becky To you and your family my deepest sympathies. Whenever Brad was golfing at Riverbend and I was the starter, we enjoyed interesting conversations from hockey to life. Brad was a sincere, honest individual who always spoke his mind. I will miss talks tremendously. May you find peace as you cherish the many memories Brad has left behind.
Becky, Sean and Andrew Bev and I send our deepest condolences to you all. Brad was my friend and my greatest mentor. I so enjoyed my relationship with him over the years. Loved our golf games and our deep work conversations..........and especially all of the laughs we had. He helped me more that I could possibly thank him for. I will miss him. John

My thoughts are with the entire Ostrom family. While working at RiverBend I had the privilege to get to know and share many laughs with Brad. He loved his sports and was a true gentlemen. He will be deeply missed by a great number people.
We send our deepest sympathy to you & your family in the loss of your husband & father. We hope that joyful memories will help you through this difficult & sad time.
Becky, " Just a note to say , I thought of you today. " Sorry to hear of your loss. May happier times in your memories comfort You at this difficult time.
Becky & Family Our deepest condolences on your loss of Brad. He was the "KING" of accounting and tax. At work he was the go to man that always had the answers when I could come up with none. Although we had not seen each other for many many years, Sheila and I have fond memories of eating his cake with over an inch of icing, playing competitive games of Trivial Pursuit and Monoply and buying Iraqie Malibu cars. If there is anything our family can due to help your family, just let us know, and we will be there. John & Sheila Hesketh & Sons.
To Becky, Sean and Andrew: Condolences for a massive loss for the Ostrom family, and the hockey community. Brad coached me for two years in the late 90s.. many championships were won, including Brad's first Silver Stick in 99'... a sentiment that will for sure be repeated many times when describing Brad. "Best coach I ever had" RIP Brad
Becky so sorry to hear about your husband, you are in my thoughts and prayers.
My condolences to Becky, Sean, Andrew and the rest of Brads family. I have known Brad a long time, well over 15 yrs and enjoyed our conversations about hockey, and players. He was a man with an outlook on the sport not matched by many, and as I have said many times, quoting a Frank Sinatra song" My Way" , this song reflects how Brad managed himself over 40 yrs in coaching minor hockey, and scouting, " I did it my way". His impact can never be forgotten. Both my boys, enjoyed success in either skating in the "breakfast club" he ran or being coached by Brad. I will cherish our last conversation back in the spring of this year. Brad will be remembered, and his impact not just in hockey will be cherished by many. Ken Brandy Madison Kurtis and Quinn White
Becky, I am so sorry to hear of the recent loss of your husband. I just read the beautiful article written about Brad; he was quite obviously an extraordinary man. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Cathy Bear Fanshawe Ladies League
I'm so sad to hear of Mr. Ostrom passing. We won a few championships in the 90's with The junior knights, the best coach I ever had. Thanks for everything coach, My son still sorts through all the hockey cards you gave me!
To Becky, Sean, Andrew and the entire Ostrom family, sincere sympathies on Brad's passing. Brad was a coach, a co-coach, a mentor, a big brother and a friend during my youth and early adult years. Take comfort that he had a positive impact on many, many, many, young hockey players. His passion for coaching and his dedication to his players does not just impact a player on the ice for a year or the season, it carries forward on and off the ice for a lifetime. Brad was my coach over 40 years ago and we coached together for many years. His influence in my life continues to this day and will forever continue. A quote I read recently " a great coach is hard to find and impossible to forget" Brad will be remembered.
