E. Grant Gilbert

Passed into the presence of his Saviour, on Sunday, August 11, 2019, at University Hospital, in his 96^th year. Beloved husband of Marlene Gilbert (née Fink). Loving father of Katrina, Howard, and the late Jon Eli (1988). Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Amber and Elijah. Dear brother of the late Allen Gilbert (Ruth Ann) of Ingersoll. Also missed by nieces and nephews: Shirleyanne, Stanley, Cathie, Richard, Marjorie and Joy. Grant was a very faithful servant of the Lord, and, as an educator, taught in First Nations schools for the majority of his career. A visitation will be held on Sunday, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Siloam Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Grant are asked to consider the Canadian Bible Society.
