Peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2019, at Victoria Hospital, in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Lydia for 60 years. Cherished father of Peter Tarasenko (Brenda), Daniel Tarasenko (Andrea), and David Tarasenko (Lana). Proud Grandpa of Nicolas, Elizabeth, and Jacob. Predeceased by his parents and brothers. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Dmitry was retired from GM Diesel in maintenance for twenty years. A visitation will be held on Friday from 7:00-9:00 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Dmitry are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
