Kenneth ‘Ken’ Walter Davis
December 15, 2018
Peacefully at Westmount Gardens, London, on Saturday, December 15th, 2018, in his 82nd year. Only child of the late Walter Davis and the late Verna D. (Vanstone) Davis, Ken will be greatly missed by his wife of 56 years, Noreen (Lang) Davis; his children: Lynn Davis and Rick Davis (Joanne); grandchildren: Jordan, Nicole, Ashley and Braden; his Lang brothers and sisters-in-law; his nieces and nephews, and his countless cousins. Ken had a love of cars that extended from his time behind the wheel of a roadster in his early 20s to numerous vehicle refurbishments over the years, including extensive work of his beloved ’66 Chevelle convertible. He enjoyed swapping car stories at Billy T’s with the guys over dinner, and watching the sun set over Lake Huron at the family cottage in Bayfield, Ontario. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the staff at Westmount Gardens for their exceptional care. A memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at 4:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Verna D. Davis Family Foundation at the London Community Foundation, the Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or a charity of your choice.

To Noreen, Rick and Family, Lynn and family and the brothers of Noreen and their families, as well as the cousins of Ken's: Myself and our Families will always remember Ken as the quiet, wonderful individual that Ken was. I think most of of us can remember the "the over the glasses" looks Ken would do. No further comment was required- you just new what that meant.. He certainly was every bit the" Family Man" Family first was his motto. You will always have the wonderful memories of Ken as your husband Noreen, and your Dad, Rick and Lynn and Grandfather to Nichole Jordan, Ashley and Braden. Yes Rick your Dad will have the greatest reunion for Christmas.
Dear Noreen, Lynn, Rick, Jordan, Nicole, Ashley and Braden, The entire Martin family sends their sympathy and love at this time to all of you. Although the miles meant that our times with Ken were limited, we heard of the good that your family was engaged in, and know Ken was a foundational part of that. His legacy lives on through you all!
