Peacefully at Beattie Manor Retirement Residence – Wardsville, on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Jack Slater in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Slater (2012) for 57 years. Loving father of Karry Howard (Allan) of Wardsville, Daniel Slater (Deborah) of London, and Jeffrey Slater (Michelle) of Rodney. Proud grandfather of Kristopher, Nicole (Trevor), Katie, Kyle (Brittany) and Kelsey. Great-grandfather of Gwen and Abagail. Predeceased by his sisters, Alveena Alying, Gwen Pilgrim and Pat Cox. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider London Health Sciences Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
