Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, December 10th, 2018 at Victoria Hospital, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Paula for 52 years. Devoted father of Dawn Licul (Edward), John (Katrina) and Steven (Kerri). Proud grandfather of Austin, Kelsey, Courtney, Carter, Evan, Reese, Rylan, Emma and Quinn. Also survived by his close uncle George Charlton. Jack was a dedicated and proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Armed Forces with a combined 27 years of service to our country. He was an avid sports enthusiast and had a passion for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the University of Notre Dame football. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20th from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., with prayers at 8:30 p.m., at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a Royal Canadian Legion Service under the auspices of Byron Legion Branch #533 will be held on Friday, December 21st, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by the memorial service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jack are asked to consider the London Regional Cancer Program.

Paula, it is with great sadness we offer our heart felt condolences to you and your family at this most difficult time. We became acquainted with Jack through bowling, one of his passions, but what also became very clear; Jack was a family man and a proud soldier who served with honour and pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Our heartfelt condolences to Jack's whole family. I'm so glad we attended his and Paula's 50th wedding anniversary. I shall remember how happy he was that day and evening. I'm so glad I got to know him as my cousin even if it was only the last 25 or so years! I will miss going back east to see him. Much love, Paula, to you and all your family!
