I worked with Dr. Clancy when he gave anesthesia for patients receiving ECT at London Psychiatric Hospital. Many patients were soothed by his compassion and caring. He had an infectious laugh and could brighten the darkest of days. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences to all. Dr Clancy was such a beautiful human being in every sense. Always concerned about his patients & colleagues. I have fond memories of working with him & Dr RC. We shared many laughs, sports trivia & brown paper bag lunches in our little O.R. Thank you Dr C.

Dr. Clancy was a gentleman through and through. He was so down to earth, caring and friendly. He will be missed. Condolences to all his family.

Dan and family, I worked in the OR with both you and your Dad for many years. I remember his infectious laugh, his love of life and how proudly he spoke of his family. My deepest condolences, it was a pleasure to have worked with such a remarkable man.

Carlos, Iván, Francisco, Lorena and I would like to send our sincere condolences and a firm hug to our Clancy cousins across the miles. We are sorry that we can't make it to Uncle Pat's Celebration of Life, and share stories of his long and fruitful life. In spite of the distance between our families growing up, I always sensed a genuine interest and love for his nieces and nephews whenever we met up at Clancy Family reunions or when he and Aunt Margaret visited us in Ottawa. We were lucky to have known him!

Dr Clancy's expertise as an Anesthesiologist benefitted all his patients young and old, his residents, students and all present in his operating room. He also had a unique gift of of being able to calm and uplift everyone in his operating room including the most anxious patient. His academic, technical and people skills were a gift to all. I am so sorry that we are out of the country and therefore won't be able to attend the funeral. Pat was easily one of my favourite uncles and I will never forget his kindness. He was always a joy to be around. Our most sincere condolences, may his memory be a blessing.

There are people who bring joy with them where ever they go. Pat was one of those. I had the privilege to work at St. Joe's and to know Pat. His laugh still echos in my mind; his gentleness remains a powerful memory. He was a blessing to all who knew him.

I was privileged to work with Dr Clancy at St Joseph in the seventies and early eighties at St Joseph Hospital on the surgical floors. He was always kind and respectful to his patients and to we the staff . My sincere sympathy to the family.

Pat was a colleague of mine for many years as a member of the UWO Dept. of Anesthesia. He provided anesthesia care to me and my family as I requested. He interviewed me for a position in the department and I was impressed by his support and friendliness. He was appreciated for his teaching skills by the residents in our training program. A great Guy!

Dr. Clancy was a special caring man who loved his family and his work. I met him after major back surgery in 1965when he anaesetised me and phoned my family in UK and updated my progress. I had no family living here. Thereafter with other surgeries, he always anaesthetised me and I got to know the family.Incidentally I got to know and worked with Mary Catherine his daughter a nurse and also met his son who had emergency brainsurgery one night when I was on in ICU. Dear Dan and family, I remember working with both you and your father at St. Joe's (O.R.) years ago and have never forgotten Dr. Clancy's gentle spirit, his expertise and his infectious laugh. My deepest sympathy to your whole family in the passing of a truly honourable man.

We are very sad for your loss of an incredible man. He loved well, worked hard and respected by all. Although, we have not been with him for years, his grandchildren know the man he was.
