Belatedly, I just noticed Brent's passing. Many years have passed since knowing Brent when his family attended St Barnabas Church. I seem to recall as well that we were in Scouts together at the time. I remember Brent as a friend. I'm sure he will be missed by all his family and those who knew him.
Ilene and family .... very, very sorry to hear of Brent's passing ... I will remember his kind, caring nature both as a friend and Principal ... he offered so much positive guidance and support throughout his life .... G. Hemminghaus

Sheila and I are saddened to hear of Brent's passing. I will always remember his kind and caring manner. He was always willing to help and actively participate - always making the event or meeting more memorable. I will forever remember his suport to me while I held various offices in Chapter.
Dear Ilene and family, I was greatly saddened to hear of Brent's passing. I know that he had battled cancer bravely for several years and gave that terrible disease a hard fight. I was very privileged to have Brent as my principal at Emily Carr in the years leading up to his retirement. His quiet leadership and common sense demeanour made our school a wonderful place to learn and teach. I recall he held a gathering to celebrate receiving his first pension cheque and invited past colleagues to share that special time! It was a very fun evening! Please accept my heartfelt condolences as you say goodbye to this wonderful man. He touched many students and teachers throughout his career. Sending warm thoughts and gentle prayers. Ann McGregor

Ilene and family Thinking of you and the family at this difficult time. We are so pleased to know that Brent was able to have some time at St Joseph's Hospice. He showed us all how to live through the cancer journey. What a pleasure to have worked with Brent during our teaching careers. He was a team player and so easy to work with. Ilene, we will never forget the huge submarine parties that you both treated us to. He loved his family. Brent will be greatly missed. Love Heather and Henry

Dear Ilene, We cherish the childhood friends we have had for so many years and thank God for letting us be a part of your and Brent's lives. It is amazing that our individual friendships - Tim's and Brent's & yours and mine - became lasting couple friendships and we are grateful to have been able to visit with you both at the Couples Club reunion in July. Please know that you and your family are thought of with love as you journey forward through this time of grief. We will remember Brent always.
Please accept my sincere sympathy. Mr. Bamford was one of the best teachers at Tweedsmuir. I have such fond memories of him and his positive impact on students. Mr Bamford was always kind, calm and compassionate. I remember him cheering for me at a track meet and skating with us at school outings. He and Mr. Dale Coughlin taught the girls how to play football! RIP.... such a special man.
