It is with great sadness and broken hearts that the family announces the passing of their hero, Salvatore Graziano Lucente. Peacefully with family by his side, at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, September 21st, Salvatore, of London and in his 81st year, was set free from his long battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Sylvia for over 50 years. Cherished father of Cathie Lucente and Rosanna (Dave) Kocher. Proud and devoted Nonno of Joshua and Lucas Kocher. A very special son to his predeceased parents, Filippa and Edward Lucente. Dear brother of the late Maria Casasanta and Agatha Saccoccia. Salvatore will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends. He will forever be remembered for his unconditional love and devotion to his family, which was evident throughout his life. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m., with Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., followed by entombment at Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum, at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Salvatore’s family wishes to extend their deepest appreciation to Father R. Remark of Holy Family Parish, as well as to Dr. H. Razvi, Dr. E. Winquist, Dr. K. Milne, Sheena Jacob, Juana Gramajo and all the staff of St. Joseph’s Hospice for their exceptional and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Salvatore are asked to consider St. Joseph’s Hospice, London.
