It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a loving husband, father and grandfather on Monday, August 27, 2018, at the age of 81. John will be deeply missed by his wife of 60 years, Margaret; his daughter Kay (Mike) Goss; and his grandchildren: Kyle, Chelsea and TJ Goss, and Samantha and Katryna Lewcock. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Ken and the late Frank; his sister, Denise, and by his extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where a memorial service will be conducted on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of John are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.

I am so sorry to hear of Uncle John's passing. I have to believe he is in a better place and at rest, along with being reunited with his brother Frank and other members of our family. Sending Margaret, Karen, Peter and their families hugs and love. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time of sadness, John will be remembered always. Teresa
The news of John passing is sad he had a long struggle with his illness and now he is at rest. It's hard to accept and I know you are all struggling with the loss, Margaret, Karen and grandchildren and your extended family you are all in my thoughts he will be sadly missed...Susan

A true gentleman I was proud to call my uncle even if not by blood xx Fond memories from childhood and a wonderful visit to Canada. Sending love to Margaret, Karen and the family. At least John and my dad John his lifelong friend are now reunited RIP loved and remembered xxx
