My condolence for your loss. Excuse me that I use this site for my question, but I did try so many ways. May I ask, is there any relationship between this person and Aletta Irene and Robert Walter Pinto or their parents Levi Pinto and Rosa Pinto Bacharach or their grandfather Simon Bacharach? They all lived in Amsterdam the Netherlands and died in Sobibor 1943 .I'm searching for relatives. kind regards, Hannie
From what I knew of Joki, that man could dance! I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years in a row at Moonlight in India and not only was he full of voracious energy but he was kind and supportive -- donating his time to efforts to supporting future generations. I am deeply saddened to hear of his passing, though I do believe that his memory will be celebrated, with his incessantly supportive and loving family. Our thoughts and condolences go out to the entire family. -Scott and Claire
I did not know Joki very well. But, what I knew was that he was full of fun. I fist met him about 18 to 20 years ago at an ICAL function in a school/ WE both suffered from impatience & ended up at the Elephant & castle nursing a beer. He would tell me jokes all the time or whenever he saw me. it is befitting his nick name. The world is at a loss lsoing preople of the nature of Joki Pinto. Victor (another with a nick-name.)

Dear Irene and family, Our deepest condolences on the sad passing of your beloved husband/father. We had the privilege of meeting Joki on many occasions at his cousin Richie's place. He had a special gift of spreading joy to all around, with his cheerful and lively nature. We enjoyed his love for music and specially the Konkani songs. May the cherished memories fill the void in your hearts. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers
We would like to express our sincere condolences to you and your family. Irene, Joki was special can never be forgotten.
Mrs. Pinto, Anita and Roshan, Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your husband and father. I cannot recall ever meeting him but may have during graduation celebrations. Knowing the qualities of class and intelligence his two children always displayed during their years at St. Bernadette Catholic School I can surmise that he was a superb father and mentor for his children. I have not seen Anita for several years, The last time was an accidental meeting in a Tri-Car apartment building on Wonderland when I was visiting my mother-in-law who lived there. The last time I met Roshan he was on a horse as a member of the famous RCMP Musical Ride. They were performing at the Western Fair. As a retired teacher/principal it is rewarding to see former students doing well in life. I shall keep all of you in my prayers, Take Care, Paul Shearon Paul Shearon
