Gerald Talbot

(June 6, 1923 – July 12, 2018) – Passed peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Chelsey Park Long Term Care Facility, in his 96th year. Cherished and beloved husband of the late Jean Talbot for 65 years. Dearest father of Charles “Chuck” Talbot, of London, James Talbot (Sylvia), of Okotoks, Linda Talbot, of Whitehorse and the late Brenda Talbot (2004). Predeceased by his siblings Eva, Austin, Willard, and Allan. Many thanks to the staff of Chelsey Park Long Term Care Facility for their loving care. Also thanks to nieces Peggy (White), Laura (Hudson), Ruth (Barrett) and Barbara (Johnson) and friend Herald (Krimmer) for their devotion to Dad. He was a loving, gentle man. The memorial service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Siloam Cemetery. All are welcome. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Gerald are asked to consider a charity of their choice.
