Jan John Drozd, P. Eng.
June 30, 2018
Originally from Brno, Czech Republic, John passed peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the age of 85 years. He is succeeded by his three children: Zora, John Junior, and Sandra; and by his grandson, Cole. In 1968, John chose to flee Communist Czechoslovakia with his family and his brother, Eugene, to make Canada his home country. He desired to provide his family the opportunity to live free, for which his children are forever grateful. He was a loving father who enjoyed music, movies, theatre, travel and life, always showing a beautiful smile. He will be missed. Cremation has taken place. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, July 6th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment at Oakland Cemetery will follow a light luncheon at the Parish. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada.

To the Drozd Family: My sincerest condolences to you all. Although I never met your father, I sounds that he was a man of courage and integrity. Unfortunately, we all must pass, but I wish all of you my sympathies for your recent loss. Yours Truly, Dennis
