Martin Schmidt

On Saturday, June 30th, 2018 at his home, Martin Schmidt, of London, in his 90th year. Loving husband and best friend of Kathy (Katharina).  Dear father of Kathleen Versnick and her husband Albert, of Dorchester, and Karen Schmidt of Kronberg, Germany. Proud Grandfather of Colin, Alison and Nicole. Survived by his sisters Julie Thomas, of Maidstone, and Betty Brown, of Windsor, and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Mike Schmidt and by his brothers-in-law:  Wilbur Thomas, Bob Brown and Helmut Keil. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in Martin’s memory are asked to consider Parkinson Society Southwestern Ontario or Trinity Lutheran Church.
