Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, June 26th, 2018, David Harry Lamb of London in his 94th year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Jean Lamb (2015). Survived by his sister-in-law Gwen Snell of Doncaster, England. Cherished father of Susan Fern (Michael) and Janice Krauter (Ron). Special Grandpa of Robert Peifer (Jodi), Rebecca Peifer (John), Ryan Peifer (Christine), Benjamin Fern (Lisa), Daniel Fern and Jennifer Moorhouse (Andrew). Great-Grandpa of Hayley, Jeremy, Cory, Desmond, Isla, Mickey and Zachary. David was loved and respected by all and was a wonderful husband, father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. Dad started his career as a Bobby in England and continued as a City of London police officer until he retired. David was also president, for many years, and lifetime member of the St. George’s Society. The family extends many thanks to all the nurses and staff at London Health Sciences Centre for making Dad’s last days as comfortable as possible. Also heartfelt thanks to everyone at Arbor Trace and Village of Glendale Crossing for their kindness and compassion. Cremation has taken place and there will not be a visitation or memorial service. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of David are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.

So sorry to read of Dave's passing, he was a great guy. Had many laughs walking the beat together recalling the "Goon Show". RIP mate.
I am so sorry to learn of David's passing. I remember him well from when he attended activities at the Alzheimer Society. He was a real gentlemen and always kept the group laughing. May he rest in peace. Sincere condolences to his family members.
