William ‘Bill’ Dennis Kinchlea
March 27, 2018
Surrounded by his family, Bill passed on peacefully in his home, in the comfort of his Lord, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at the age of 60. Bill’s family was big. He loved his immediate family: his wife, Elizabeth Mary; his children, William (Christina), Robert and Natalie; and his grandchildren, Daniel and Gwendolen. Bill loved his extended family: his siblings, Holly Kinchlea-Brown (Wes), Dave (Sue), Rich and Brad Turner (Lisa); his mother, Marilyn Turner (Ross); step-mother, Morag; his uncle, Kerry (Gillian); and cousins, Lindsay and Kim. He loved all his nieces and nephews: Kathleen (Lee), Sagan (Josh), Keegan, Kareen (Brian), Avery, Kirsten, Sarah, Darin, Benny, Liam and Aeryc. Bill loved his second family too: Wendy and Dave Dupuis, and their children, Jesse (Be), Jenny (Sotiris) and Patrick. Bill’s life touched so many people and he was known by many names. To his Trinity Church family, he was Uncle Bill; to his airshow family, he was Mother Goose. He worked for many years at Metro, where he formed another family. Bill worked in the community around him: he ran the “Food for Thought” program at Wilfred Jury Public School for more than 20 years, worked as an elder in his church for more than 20 years, with a focus on helping people at home and abroad. He actively supported many charities. Bill’s love of nature was apparent. His photography was a lifelong passion, and his friends will not be able to think of him without remembering his kayaks and campfires. And, of course, OK! BLUE JAYS! LET’S. PLAY. BALL. A Celebration of Life will be held at TRINITY COMMUNITY CHURCH – PRESBYTERIAN, 570 Gainsborough Road, London on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:30 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider the Children’s Health Foundation (>http://chfou.convio.net/goto/daniel).

My sincere sympathy to my friend Rob and the entire Kinchlea family.
Our hearts go out to the entire Kinchlea family at the unimaginable sorrow of losing Bill. I will always remember the great times we all had when the Kinchlea's came up to visit us on the farm. Cherish every moment you had and know that he will always be in your hearts.
Dear Beth and family - my sincere sympathy to you. Bill was a great guy, always quick wit and a smile that could melt away any problems. I remember him as a kind, considerate man and always ready to help out at Trinity Place. He will be missed. Hugs to you.
Bill touched so many people through his humour and generosity. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Our condolences for your loss.
Dear Beth: my deepest condolences on the passing of your husband Bill, I remember the many times he carried little William into the Children's Library to pick you up. Bill was always smiling and proud of his family. So sorry for your loss.
Dear Beth: While I can't remember if I ever met Bill, you and I worked together for many years; I remember how fondly you always spoke of him and your children. My deepest sympathy goes to you and your family on Bill's passing.
Bill I enjoyed the many nights we worked together at the metro! You made those nights a fun time! We shared some great laughs and even better times talking Blue Jays! You'll be missed dearly and my thoughts and prayers are with your family!
Bill was a great leader and an inspiration to us all. When I picture him, I still see him sitting at the desk at Metro with his feet on the desk listening to CBC. Thinking of you Beth and family!💖
I have known Bill for over 25 years and worked with him at the air shows. His love aircraft was evident in his smile and his pictures. I don't have a favourite story to share as I have so many, but I will share this one. It was 3 weeks before Christmas when Bill visited my house. He sat in my recliner chair right beside my Christmas tree and commented on how nice it looked. He said he couldn't wait to get his up that weekend. He loved the glitter and sparkly ornaments but his favourite was an airplane of course! But the real reason he was here was to talk about getting back into the hobby of model trains now that he was retired. After an hour's discussion he had all the answers he was looking for. He gave me a typical "Mother Goose" hug and a very cheery "Merry Christmas!" and was out the door. His smile, generosity, love of nature and outgoing personality will all be missed very much. In the airshow world it's not goodbye.......it's see you again soon. RIP Mother Goose. Fly high my friend as you have finally earned your wings and we will see you again soon! :) To the rest of the family, I offer my deepest condolences.
My deepest condolences to Beth, the fsmily and friends who loved Bill. Please be comforted by the wonderful memories of Bill over the decades and the love that you shared. We will miss him. Love Gina & Richard
I am so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Although we had not seen each other for a long time, he and his family were never far from my thoughts. Even as teenagers he had a lasting effect on me and all who knew him. He truely was one of the best.
I feel blessed to have had Bill in my life, although we only saw each other at airshows and related meetings, we always just picked right up where we had left off. My condolences to his family and friends, he will be missed
Fondly called "Mother Goose" for a reason; he looked after everyone. He is a Father/Grandfather to all on our Team.

We haven't seen Bill and Beth since the curling days at the Ivanhoe. "Mr. Bill" always had a big smile and a hearty laugh, and his tshirt and suspenders were his signature outfit. He loved life and always had a good time. We send our deepest sympathy to all his family, he was one of a kind and will be missed by anyone who had the good fortune to know him.
