Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Elmwood Place Long Term Care on Tuesday, March 27th, 2018, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Kunti Droom. Loving father of Nirmala, Vamadeva, Vinobha and Anand. Also loved by his six grandchildren. Dear brother of Rukhminie, Kowsilla, Chumanlall, Phulmattie and Savitree. The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel at MOUNT PLEASANT CEMETERY, 303 Riverside Drive, London on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m.

Dear Kunti and Family, I was so sad to hear that Vernon had passed away when I was at Elmwood Place today. I am sorry that you have lost your dear husband and father. He was a friend to many at the Home. Vernon had such a likable and genuine personality. He will be missed very much. I enjoyed our conversations during his massages, learning about his accomplishments. You were always there with him and had his best interests in your hearts. He loved you alot. I hope for better days ahead and am thinking of you fondly. Nancy
Dear Nirmala I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Uncle Vern was kind, gentle, and generous man. I know you will miss him dearly but he will always be around you, watching over you and guiding you through life . My love to the boys, and please extend my sincere condolences to Aunty Kunti. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
