The Terry Fox Run organizing committee members are very sad to hear of Ted's passing, and Terry Fox Run London has lost a wonderful friend and supporter. Ted helped to organize the first Terry Fox Run in London, only 14 months after he had run with Terry down Dundas Street to Victoria Park. This past September, as usual, Ted came to the Terry Fox Run at Springbank Gardens and delivered his encouragement and thanks to the many participants, even though in retrospect he was probably not feeling very well. He gave the organizers a copy of a cherished photo of him running just behind Terry along with Gord Leach and numerous others. The Terry-Foxers will miss him dearly at many Runs to come. We extend our sincere sympathy to Ted's family. His legacy and contribution to cancer research will never be forgotten.
To the Family: I am very sorry for your family's loss. Please know that the "God of all comfort" (Psalms 83:18) knows and feels your pain. Exodus 3:7 He promises that one day soon, "death will be no more" Revelation 21:3-5 and He provides a wonderful hope for our love ones who have died, that they can live again, John 6:40. We long to see that fulfillment soon. May you find comfort in God's promises. For more comfort please visit our website: jw.org and view the faith strengthening video: Is There Hope for the Dead? ðŸ’

Dear Earlene and all of the Wernham family: May God comfort all of you and fill you with hope for the future in a way that I know Ted would have often prayed in recent years for all of you. As a pastor and friend I was privileged to have a small part in Ted's amazing conversion to Christ and then over the past years to see the changes that God worked in his life. I was thankful to hear that many of you were with him when he died in peace knowing that he would soon be with the Lord. He will be greatly missed. We do not sorrow as those with no hope. Ted is alive with his heavenly Father now and will live forever. Next week will be Easter celebrations and we remember that Jesus said, "Because I live, you will live also." I know that Ted believed that promise. Thanks be to God.
Earlene & family, I am so sorry to hear of Ted's passing. He was an amazing man, and respected by everyone. I will always have amazing memories of him, and have your whole family in my thoughts and prayers.
To all of the Wernham Family; Ted came into my life at it's darkest point. He reminded me through his own example, that there are still kind, honest people in the world. He was a wonderful person with a kind heart, great integrity, and a desire to protect people to the best of his abilities. The words he left me with will linger with me until my end. As we both had talk radio shows on the same station, he often mentioned that he wanted to do a show together. I am saddened that that day never materialized. I am sure it would have been fantastic to share the mic with such a knowledgable and great presence. May you all find peace in the arms of Christ and in the knowledge that Ted is with Our Saviour. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers in the days and months to come.
To Ted's (home and business) Family; may his wisdom and legacy be passed on to you all. Let's embrace the knowledge that he has shared with each of us!
To all the Wernham family, I, like many, was surprised to read of Ted's promotion to glory this morning. I first met Ted in the fall of 1969, he was student council President at Westminster S.S. and I was a newly minted Gr.9 rep. Our paths crossed occasionally in the following years as we both attended the Fitness Forum. In more recent years, Ted was an active supporter of Promisekeeper's and London Youth for Christ. He was dedicated to his faith and his clients, both whom he served faithfully. He will be missed by many, yet his faith in Christ ensures he has a new address in heaven. May the promises from Psalm 23 comfort you in the days ahead.
Our deepest thoughts and prayers in your time of sorrow
To Earlene and Family, On behalf of all of us at Pro-Seminars and CIEPS (Elder Planning Counselor Designation), please accept our most heartfelt condolences on the loss of Ted. He was a great supporter of both companies and presented many times for these venues. Ted was not only a successful business personality, but also a good friend to those who took the time to get to know him. He will truly be missed. Tom Miller, Alex Nicholson, Adam Wyrcimaga and the rest of the Pro-Seminars and CIEPS team
I was very sorry to hear of Ted's death. As City Council colleagues, we sometimes disagreed, but I always knew Ted would argue his case well. Later as an M.P., I was pleased to work with Ted on issues of great importance to both of us, and to Canada. The longer I knew Ted, the more I liked and respected him. My sincere sympathies to his wife and family. You are in my prayers Ted. Rest In Peace! Pat O'Brien (M.P. Ret.)
