Peacefully at Chelsey Park Long Term Care on Thursday, February 8th, 2018, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Ted Osborne (2008). Loving mother of Charles (Danielle), Bill (Elaine), David (Debbie) and Chris (Mary Ellen). Predeceased by daughter Caroline, the joy of her life. Survived by brother, Charles Frederick Riley. Held in loving memory by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. JOHN THE DIVINE PARISH, 390 Baseline Road West, London, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with visitation one hour prior. Interment of cremated remains at Woodland Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elaine are asked to consider Community Living London.

Dear Charlie, Bill, David and Chris. Our sincere condolences on the loss of your dear mother. She and your Dad were dear friends and neighbours of ours when we lived in London. Susan's Dad, Clark, and your Dad, Ted, were bosom buddies and you boys, along with your precious sister, Caroline, were all pals and school chums of our David and Susan. Hugs Charlie, Dave, Billy, Chris and families, just found out that your mom passed away, heartfelt sadness on hearing the news (I live in England). Growing up on Beachwood was the best and your mom was always full of hugs and laughter (and always ready to feed whomever walked through the door). Your mom's fudge rivaled my Aunt Rita's (Blahout) who lives in our old home on Beachwood. So many fond, lovely memories of your mom, her kindness was full of abundance to all, just being able to sit and have a chat about anything, took the time to listen, your mom was always smiling and even when she scolded one of you boys it would be followed with a hearty laugh (throwing her head back), smile and then a big hug. Your home was always full of love, laughter. Your mom was a party gal as I have a couple of pictures of the parties mom and dad threw, and there she was in the middle of it all having a fab time. Your mom was one of many extra moms we kids would visit for a quick snack and off we ran to the woods to continue our naughty adventures. How do you find the words to describe someone that was so full of life, laughter, love, hugs and one smart cookie, completing a degree later in life. Living opposite all of you was the best. Your home was a second home, just walking in, hi Mrs O and hearing your dad... in his way say Karen Olivia drawn out with a hearty laugh.. both your parents were always full of laughter. We got up to so much mischief in those woods but they were the best days of my childhood. Never will forget her or your dad.
