Rainer Kriegel

KRIEGEL, Rainer

September 14, 1937 – January 14, 2018

It is with deepest regret and sympathy we announce the passing of a wonderful husband, a sweet loving father and the best Opa ever. You will be missed by all. Peacefully and surrounded by family, you took your journey home. Rainer worked at Parkwood Institute for 32 years and owned the 3 Musketeers men’s hair design for 15 years. With our final thought from his girls, sons-in-law, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren “We will miss you and we all love you Opi, you were the candy man.” A private graveside interment was held at Woodland cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rainer are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex.

I was sad to see Rainer's obit in today's London Free Press. Rainer was my barber for more than 25 years. He was always a gentleman, and I always enjoyed visiting with him. I will always have fond memories of Rainer.

So sorry to read that "Mr. Kriegel" passed. Along with being a wonderful husband, a sweet loving father, and the best OPA ever, he was also a good neighbour to the Rundle family. Thinking of you all at this saddest of times. Robin
