Our sincerest condolences to you Donna and your extended family. You and Gord always held such a special place in my childhood and summers spent growing up at the park. Our parents always knew we were safe even when they couldn't see us because they knew Gord knew where we were and kept us out of trouble. It was wonderful seeing you and he return to the park as my husband Wes and I also have our own trailer now. Life has an uncanny way of strangers becoming friends as it was only a short while ago that I realized that Wes' friend from work, Scott was related to you and Gord and our friendship with him, your granddaughter Calie and then Dylan and Stephanie has only grown. May you always feel the love that surrounds you during this difficult time.

Dear Mom , Donna, I will truly miss Dad. If it wasn't for my parents getting a seasonal lot at the camp. I would not have met any of you, or the man of my dreams , the father of my 3 beautiful children and my 3 extra children Mike,Scott and Stephanie and my granddaughter. You are so special to me. Love Kim xoxoxo

~ Kim Chesney

My sincerest condolences to the entire family. I know how special Gord was to the family and he certainly made lasting impressions on me. I remember how he would laugh (well most of the time) at all the stupid things we did at the camp and how he welcomed us all around the counter in the store, the campfires and for some of us, into his home. I truly appreciate how Gord treated me as a young boy and later as a young man - he will be missed. Donna, Jim, Gord, Laurie and family, I share your sadness but I also share how lucky you were to have him in your life. The pan flute is playing a song for him - god bless.
