Dear cousins, it's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a well-lived life." She was one of the warmest, most friendly, caring persons I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving. Her guidance and patience gave me strength. May she rest in eternal peace. Wishing you and your families, strength and peace."
Hey you McCready kids, please accept our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mom. It's times like this that our minds are filled with GOOD memories, Like swimming with Terry at the old holiday inn in town and dances at Christmas with your dad and mom and the other "GANG" from Seimens. How much joy you all gave to your parents was immeasurable and your kids only added to it. Once again may she and Bill rest in Peace. A donation has been made to Canadian Food For Children in Chatham in Terry's name
Hi Joanne ,I was very saddened to hear of your mom passing. I didn't know your mom very long , but the time I met her I knew what a caring ,and good person she was. The day I met her we were sitting on the bench in front of her apartment. Both of us had a boogie board and we were righting back and forth and we were laughing so hard doing it. We use to email each other ,and comparing notes about our deasese. Please except our condolences to you and your family. Elide&Renato (fromWindsor)
Will always remember sweet Aunt Terry as a positive & caring woman. She had a way to make us feel special. I remember she sewed a Raggedy Ann doll for me when I was a little girl & went to stay with her when my dad was hospitalized for a lengthy period. She gave me a rosary from Granny Markham on my wedding day, & an ottoman she designed as a wedding present. She was very talented. She was brave & strong through her illness, & remained compassionate of others. Although regretfully, I am unable to get the time away from work to attend the funeral, I hope Bill, JoAnn, Lorene, Bruce & Todd & families know how much she was loved & appreciated. I've kept her & your family in my prayers, May your memories of her perpetual smile continue to give you comfort. Michelle Therese Hadrian (nee Markham)
Dear cousins, We are saddened by the passing of Aunt Terry, she was special. Amazing she could remember all the nieces and nephews (70+). She will be missed but stories and memories will last lifetimes. We honour her by remembering her laugh and smile.
I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Terry. I knew both of them for a short period of time but enjoyed both of them. She had recently sent an email asking if she could come back to craven dr and have a look for old times sake. Wish that could have happened. All family members are welcome to revisit their childhood home at anytime. She will be missed. A wonderful lady. Rest In Peace
We will miss Aunt Terry's never ending smile. How she would seek out Aunt Gerri and me on August 19th to celebrate our birthday. See how proud she was of her ever growing family. Caring for Uncle Bill as his mental and physical health slipped away. Teaching Jeannie and me a new card game even after she lost the use of her voice and ability to eat solid food. Loved the fact she played against us in earnest. And when her health failed her, she made it clear she did not want to be kept alive by a feeding tube. Aunt Terry knew it was her time and with bravado, dignity and the love of her family, faced the inevitable. She is our hero!
Dearest Bill ,JoAnn, Lorene,Bruce,Todd & families, Through God's grace and mercy, we pass from this life to the next. May He fill your hearts with peace and warm memories of your mother's love. We will miss her so much especially the phone calls these last few months . I would talk and talk. I knew she was listening. When I hung up, I waited for her response and she would always email back with words of wisdom. OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY for THE LOSS OF OUR BELOVED SISTER. Lee & Shirley
To all of the McCready and Markham family members, we were so sad to hear the news of the loss of our wonderful Aunt Terry. She was an amazing woman and always made you feel loved and appreciated. She will never be forgotten.
