Peacefully at home, surrounded in the arms of his family, on Friday, August 4th, 2017, at the age of 70. Fiercely loved and remembered by his wife, Barb; daughter Ashley and son-in-law Mike; and daughter Courtney and son-in-law Patrick. Devoted Papa to Sadie, Colin, and Everett. Cherished son-in-law of Bill Taylor. Loving brother of Jim, and Gary (Monica); and brother-in-law of Earl and Diane, Cathy, and Lisa. Ron will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ron received friendship and support from his longtime family physician, Dr. Paul Dickie. We would also like to personally thank our family and friends, who tirelessly gave their time, love and support through the years. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Monday, August 7th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at a later date in Hawkesbury, Ontario. Ron was an avid animal lover. Those wishing to make a donation in honour of Ron’s memory are asked to consider Holly’s Hope Cat Rescue.
