Peacefully at University Hospital, on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of Justa Gilliland. Dear father of Mark Gilliland (Jeanette) and the late Tanya Marie Dietrich (Allan); and stepfather of Ken McLeod (Laura), Penny Whyard, Judy Brown (Vic), Pat McLeod (Michelle), Linda McLeod (Bob LaForge), Tom McLeod (Pearl) and Kathy Van Bommel (John). Frank will be missed by his 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews including the McLeod clan. Predeceased by his brothers, Harold, John, Raymond and Otis Gilliland and by his sister Beatrice Williams. Frank was a loyal employee of CNR for over 37 years and a member of #427 Sing Air Forces Club, London. Visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at HOLY FAMILY PARISH, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday, May 15th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Frank are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario. Frank will be forever grateful to his friend Bill W.
