Been thinking a lot about 5 dollar haircuts done in Kim's kitchen at a moments notice that were usually followed by the offer of a ride home. Hands down the most unselfish person I've known and a great loss. Condolences to all her family.

~ Rob And Irene Murray

Ken, our deepest sympathy to you and your family; we are still in shock over Kim's passing. Though we only entered your and Kim's lives a little over 2 years ago, we have shared such great experiences together with so much fun. Kim was such an upbeat, thoughtful, sensitive woman with a true zest for life and adventure - and always smiling. We already miss her greatly, though we have such fond memories of the "candy lady" and the "stingray whisperer" that will remain with us forever. May your sorrow and grief eventually be comforted by the wonderful years of memories you two shared.

~ Kimberly Johnston & Anthony Haboush

Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for Kim and her family. She was a great person. Kind, thoughtful, generous, and always looking after others. For the past 19 years it was always a pleasure to have her with us in our carpool. We had such a good time together. There is definitely a empty place in our hearts. She will deeply missed but always REMEMBERED!!!

~ Randy & Bev Dodman

Ken, it was just a short few months ago when we where having the best of times with Kim, you Kim 2 and Tony. Kim was always in the lead, she never slowed down and always was wondering where we were. She started off our vacation with laughter and we new there was going to be a great time ahead. Between her gifts that she brought for the girls on the trip and her bag of candy that she carried with her, she was always thinking of others. She always made our adventures sweeter and funnier. When we think of Barcelona we will alway have our great memories of Kim and you. Our deepest sympathies on your loss and we hope that you and your family find some comfort in remembering how much Kim truly enjoyed helping others and how that she will leave such a wonderful legacy, for so many. We did not know Kim for very long but really grew to love her. She was a very special person!

~ Bobbie & Van Baltz

Ken: My condolences to you and your family. I feel truly blessed to have had the pleasure of meeting Kim and yourself 4 years ago in El Salvador. We had a lot of laughs and it was great to continue that friendship once we returned to Canada. I will forever remember the fun times we had and smile when I think of the wonderful person that Kim was. Her laugh made me laugh. I hope all your wonderful adventures and warm memories help you through these very sad days. Sincerely, Michelle Little XO

I have worked with Kim for the past 27 years. She always brought laughter and smiles wherever she went. We were all very lucky to have known her. It's not going to be the same without her. I loved hearing about her trips and if there was a place I wanted to know about, I would ask Kim. She loved her family with all her heart. I am so sorry I will not be able to attend the service. My deepest condolences to all of you at this very sad and difficult time. Donna Galbraith.

A true friend Kim was, unselfish and very giving. kim had a huge heart and would always go the extra mile to help someone in need. It breaks my heart that kim was taken from us. your laugh and smile are etched in our hearts. I was lucky enough to enjoy the car pool with kim, this was our 30 minutes of what ever the topic of the day was. many years we spent condensing an 8 hour day into 30 minutes. like a rewarding sitcom.comedy was what got a lot of us through the day. our motto was what ever happened in the car pool stayed in the car pool. I will miss my friend very much.

To Ken and family. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. I never had the opportunity to meet Kim, I only know Ken through working together at Enercare. I hope you find condolence in the many tributes and lovely comments about Kim. She sounds like a wonderful person that will be missed by the many people who knew her so well. The difficulty of losing someone as young as 58 is daunting but lean on each other and there is strength that will come from somewhere.
